|
This section contains a selection of my essays completed in English 1A at Pasadena City College. English 1A is a college-level composition course that aims to improve the student's reading and writing skills. Upon completion of this course I have gained the ability to thoroughly analyze a body of text in order to understand its true meaning, as well as recognize rhetorical devices implemented throughout. In addition I have greatly improved my writing and grammatical skills. These essays were assigned by our professor with the intent to meet specific Course Learning Objectives which will be indicated prior to each essay. Thank you for taking the time to view my work. Enjoy.

Does Nature punish Frankenstein (Victor) for his transgressions? To what extent is this novel a cautionary tale for those - scientists, inventors, and more - who seek to defy the rules of nature. This was the third major essay conducted in English 1A.
